New equipment unlocked! The Practical Genomics Laboratory is one of the first few in the Philippines to acquire the third-generation digital PCR, allowing the detection of DNA and species identification using species-specific primers. Faster and more efficient than ever, it bypasses the standard microbiological identification through the tedious isolation and a series of culturing and biochemical assays.
